Grenoble or Frankfurt School of Finance and Management Master in Finance

Hey Everyone,

I have recently been accepted to both Grenoble and Frankfurt School of Finance and Management Masters of Finance programs. I have received a 10k scholarship to Frankfurt, which makes the price of each program equal so that is no longer a factor. However, I am still debating which to attend as the Grenoble program on campus portion is shorter (1 year + 1 year internship/master thesis) than the Frankfurt program which is basically a 2 year program with intermittent internship time. I am leaning towards Frankfurt as it if a financial hub and the program seems more in depth and serious, but my my main concern is recognition and respect by potential employers. Is Grenoble well known? It ranks 12th on FT Master of Finance ranking, while Frankfurt 20th, but Frankfurt has much higher avg salary 3 years out and better recruitment.

Any opinions from non-US people would be appreciated as its hard to get a true gauge of the reputation of these school from over seas. Thanks for the Input

Just curious, are you from the US? I did my master's abroad and was also accepted to that Frankfurt school but chose a different uni instead because I couldn't find Frankfurt's rankings at that time, plus I couldn't justify the cost. I was kicking myself later on when German friends were telling me that was a top-notch school that gets heavy recruiting. I obviously can't vouch for that, but that's what they said.

Yes I am. I'm from Houston Tx, and have graduated with a B.A. In Economics and Geology from the University of Texas at Austin. I have internship experience doing geologic work here in Houston and energy analyst work in NYC.

If your friends or you have any input, I'd love to hear it. Also waiting to hear from Bocconi possibly by today, which I consider a tier above Both the before mentioned. However, if German nationals are saying the school is very well respected, that could mean a lot
