GS and MS final year students for SA

Hi I heard that GS and MS also consider final year students for their SA programs. Does anyone have an experience with this. Someone who applied with final year graduation date, for example for this years recruitment period with grad date 2022 and still got considered?

I know that some people postpone their grad dates or similar, but if these two banks consider also final year student I don't see the need to make some shit up on my applications.

Thanks for help.

Can confirm that I was considered in both processes and put the actual graduation date for final year when I was recruiting a while ago.

Not the case for all companies though - JPM is the one that comes to mind that will flat out reject you if you put final year graduation. Also, CS has an Autumn internship specifically for final year students so they're not a massive fan of SA applications from final years.

Just a note of caution but would look into the other BBs and EBs in London as well, only applying / caring about MS and GS is not an optimal way to play the roulette wheel of London recruitment.

^this. London is random, if you’re good enough you effectively get put in a hat and drawn out by random banks, being the best doesn’t equate to getting into the best bank unfortunately.

Was this for GS or MS? I thought that it would be risky to apply for both SA and OC so decided to go for the former in the end but would definitely prefer to do an Off-Cycle if possible to apply for both
