Has anyone on here ever used CBD oil for moving on?

I have been having trouble moving on. It's literally eating me alive. Someone the other day suggested CBD or a natural antidepressant in their words. I looked it up and apparently there's a lot of hype. I don't know if these people are just tools

Another post about moving on. Have you considered Tinder/Bumble?

Yeah I feel like I've been bamboozled. So much for caring about people, I won't waste my time with trolls anymore.

If you want to go natural in regards to tackling mild depression and/or anxiety, I'd sooner suggest St. John's Wort, melatonin and/or valerian.

I use valerian and melatonin to help with interrupted sleep and night sweats, but some of the additional benefits have to do with improving mood.

CBD oil is good for physical pain. And it's good for anxiety, which in turn, can help with depression.

As for moving on, I would recommend you talk to someone - talking to a therapist or counselor is a way to learn some tools for coping.

Taking over-the-counter supplements or even taking prescription-strength meds only addresses the symptoms relating to the depression... the meds technically won't clear up the cause of your depression, whereas a few sessions of talk therapy could teach you methods to better handle things that upset you and give you tools and exercises to strengthen your coping skills.

Please see my earlier comment. I even removed the mean part.

Look go get some help because you obviously can't deal with this on your own.

Please go see a therapist.

I've actually got a formula that gets me over the hump in one (1) month:

  • You've got to block him/her on all forms of social media. The ways you can torture an individual on various forms of social media post-breakup is absurd.
  • You'll need to be hitting the gym very hard. I don't care what it is, but you've got to fill the void with endorphins and feeling good about being yourself.
  • Confide in your friends. Your mom can only take so much of this shit. I would tell my friends all the motions I was going through. They're into this drama; I promise. Just don't let the topic overstay it's welcome (1 month rule).
  • Let yourself be in your feelings. Watch sad movies, watch romcoms, listen to mood music, read emotional shit on the internet. It's all part of running through the motions. After crushing my usual docket of romcoms, I'd run through the Sunset Trilogy to remind me what true love really looks like. Sprinkle in a bunch of old Drake and The XX and by the end of the month, I'm pretty over being emotional and I'm ready to stop being a bitch.

But you've gotta give yourself the time.
