I start my summer internship at a PE major bank in a couple of days
Any advise on the Do's and Don'ts for the FIRST DAY???

find the biggest guy in the office, and beat the shit out of him.
and get beat up before you walk in so you don't look too pretty
wear a wireless headset when you walk in, if somebody asks just tell them you can be more efficient that way.
Just hold a conversation, it'll probably be a lot of talking. Ask questions to make you seem really eager, etc
I didn't do anything my first day
ofc I'm not a big PE firm
Piss everywhere to mark your spots and hump your md to show your dominance.
Tell the team that all their prior transactions have been shit deals :P
Spend the first hour explaining them what a "PE major Bank" is
find out what is expected, and get going at over delivering.
Wow, I'm reading this at my first day at my internship at a PE firm and this is utterly useless. My MD is meeting with the other intern right now face-to-face and I decided to wait by reading these forums.

It's a stupid question because it's been covered countless times on this forum. If you're sitting at work on your first day and just now starting to look for tips on what you should be doing, that's entirely your fault.
Dude its a one-on-one to give us our projects. I met with him immediately after.
First you say you "decided to wait" then you say it's one-on-one...those definitely convey conflicting situations, one where you're waiting your turn, and the other where you decided to push back your meeting with an MD in favor of checking WSO.
