Investment Analyst Exit Ops

I have a final interview at a small investment management firm (2B AUM). clients include high net worth individuals, foundations, and corporations. the firm invests in public and private equities. responsibilities include: - investment due diligence - asset class research - investment manager performance analysis - prepare client investment review presentations - develop client asset allocations

trying to decipher if more of a PWM vs AM role, but there is no emphasis on acquiring new clients. thoughts? exit ops (im assuming a larger firm)?

Seems more like an AM role to me. I've had internships within RE, PWM and just landed a new job with a small consulting/AM firm. It's when you start looking into Investment Managers that the scale starts to tip towards this being more of an AM-esque role.

Or have I misinterpreted your question?

not sure about outsourced CIO (not familiar with what youre referring to either) And yes Investment are Cool you did bring some clarity. This job is heavily focused on researching investment managers (PE/HF) and performing additional ER on specific client requests.

You're gonna need to be more specific in what you mean by 'investment analyst'
