Controversial
  1. Why did you choose your preferred location?
  2. What are your strengths?
  3. What are your weaknesses?
  4. What are the 3 ways you can valuate a company?

My questions were completely different. I thoroughly practiced the ones you outlined lol. Regardless, it's good practice for another interviews as it's bound to show up again; thanks for that! On a side note, they probably randomly rotate questions or refresh them every so often to decrease the probability of people trying to game the system like OP.

Edit: Just realized that AI probably just filtered me out. I wasn't looking directly at the camera for half the time. Damn I really hate talking to hot air.

Maybe cheating has helped through high school and possibly even college, but at some point this is going to work against you. Seriously just take the hirevue, you and all the other people who are filling the IB forum begging for questions.

Applied June 27, got the pymetrics test the same day. Then, got a HireVue on July 3. Then I did the Hireview today which is July 10. I got 4 questions, didn't really seam relevant to IB. Honestly, you get 2 tries, so its not super hard. I don't know how they're gonna choose who gets a super day just because I'm assuming a lot of people are submitting hireviews.

  1. Why financial services and why JP Morgan?

  2. What is a global event that can effect the financial markets?

  3. Tell me about a time you had to overcome a challenge.

  4. Tell me about a time you worked in a group and what challenge did you face and how did you overcome it.

I think 3 is asking about any challenge you faced while 4 is asking more about a challenge you faced in a group.

Also, there is a little loophole I discovered because I had bad internet connection. So,you get two tries. But, what you could do is see what the question is and write it down or something, then you could press reload on the browser. What this'll do is use up one of your tries. But, as a result, you get unlimited time before you decide to use your second try to answer the question. I had to reload the page because for some reason the video recording would stop in the middle during my first try which is how I discovered it.
