JP Morgan Private Bank Analyst HK Superday

Hi there,

I just received a call and email to be invited for JPM PB 2013 FT Analyst superday interview. Was wondering if anyone had some insights on what to expect for PB superday and their interviews.

Best,

Howard

Howard, I actually work in the Chicago office. Interviews weren't terrible. He able to articulate well why you want to work in Private Banking and specifically why JPM. Be able to speak well on the markets and have a view. I remember getting a couple of behavioral questions but really depends on whether or not a member from HR is apart of the interview. Feel free to message me and we can talk offline if you'd like.

Jessica, I had my superday in Shanghai yesterday, 11/26. I asked Suzanna, the VP of Recruitment, and she said it'll take a little longer to hear back. They're still in Beijing, then SG, and lastly HK to finish up superday's before sitting down with their final list of candidates and choosing the best ones.

Who did you interview/meet with? Were you invited to the dinner afterwards? Or was there no such function for NY or LA superdays?

Sit tight, and I guess we're just waiting now!

hongerHey Reklis,

How long did it take for the recruitment team to get back to you after your telephone interview? I had my telephone interview a week ago, but still havent received a reply. And how was the superday? haha

I applied to the FT PB Analyst Program in Singapore... and im based in the UK.

Thanks

Honger, I waited about a week or so before receiving the superday invite via email. Superday was easy. Straight forward fit questions along with some technical questions regarding financial markets, personal investment idea, etc.

Hi Howard,

Sorry, I just noticed that your response to another comment answered my question. Guess JPM should be contacting me soon then...

clark49They have already done most of the recruiting in the U.S.

Yup. Just got a email from Suzanna that they're in Beijing right now. Their next stops are HK then SG, then back to HK.

That's odd, I wonder how they plan to arrange superdays for applicants here in the UK. Perhaps interviews will be conducted through partners? hmm

Howard, I saw ur pm, thanks a lot. yeah, I just hope we are all the same batch and decision will be made after all of their trips are done. when do you expect to hear from them? this week? because based on what Suzanna told me, it's gna be 2 weeks, so should be about early next week... Are you applying to the HK office? or Singapore?

Jessica, I got a email from the recruiter about 15 minutes ago, she told me that they'll be contacting candidates within a week or two, depending on their location. I applied to HK office. However, one of the MDs I interviewed with recommended a position for Taipei's office.

jessica10808i see, did you contact Suzanna directly? I sent her an email on Mon to the general asia pb email address but havent received a reply yet...

Yes, I contacted her directly. Wait for her reply as she is quite busy.

Hi everyone, I seem to be 1 month behind the recruiting process, but possibly because I am applying to HK. I've applied to PB in HK, and have been called for the superday. It will be on Dec 8th. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could give me some insights into the superday, such as what kind of technical questions did they ask, and how was the case study, e.g., was it very technical, a brief description of the case. Finally, In my itinerary, JPM stated that there was a "written" task, would anyone know what the nature of the written task will be like ? again, thank you all for any insight and tips.

Hi, Jessica, I am having a SuperDay next week as well, would you kindly share some insight with me please? Specifically, what type of case study, group exercise and written tests am I expecting? Thanks!

Hi guys, I will be having the JPM superday this coming saturday. Will appreciate some input on what I should be expecting as it will be my first experience in such a setting.

Looking foward to hearing from you. Cheers! x

Hi Everyone,

I attended the Selection and Networking event in Singapore on the 29th of Nov, no news since then. Has any of you heard about any rejections at this stage?

Thanks!

Has any of you heard about candidates who received a rejection email after the networking event in Singapore on the 29th of November?

Thanks a lot for your help!

ReklisShanghai and Beijing applicants have received final round interview notice via email.

Attended the Singapore superday. Any idea if unsuccessful applicants have also been notified?

hamjulywhat about HK candidates
i applied through the US schools application and got an email about final round a few days ago

currently no info about when it will be the email said the final round consists of 1-2 interviews w MDs no mention of written test is that only for applications from HK, CN?

Hey guys, same thing here. Had superday back in December, received a notification for entering the final round, but nothing after that. Has anyone been scheduled for the final round yet?

Hey Jessica10808 and Reklis, did either of you get offers for JPM PB? Could you guys maybe shed some light on the process? I'm interviewing for JPM PB for the 2014 HK intake and was wondering if anyone else is going through the same process? Thanks guys
