McKinsey insight and BCG bridge2BCG application preparation

Hi everyone,

I'm preparing for applications for Mckinsey Insight and BCG bridge2BCG this year. I'm just wondering how important is the essay writing and is there any useful tips for preparing the essay part from previous attendees?

Thanks a lot for the help and insights!

I guess this is for full time recruiting in 2019? Maybe you want to attend it next summer in 2019 for full-time positions in 2020. Their recruiters were saying that if you enter the Insight program, you will directly go to the interview process for full-time positions

Hi, with conversations with the BCG &McK recruiters they say explicitly if you're not graduating in 2019, do not apply, because they are only looking for people applying for 2019 cycle (hence the reason the programs are only a few weeks before the application dates). But prep your essay for next year!

Hey sorry. I don't know if it'll be the exact same question so I wouldn't write it all out, but I would think "tell about when you've shown leadership," would almost certainly come up.

I'm not sure actually. I applied it online though. But it's a program for Ph.D./JD/MD who has no exposure to consulting before.
