Most Interesting/Bizarre Asset You've Heard of?
Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but I was wondering what sort of assets you've heard of people/funds looking at outside the traditional stocks/bonds/real estate. Some examples I've heard of
- Bundles of Taxi Medallions
- Tankers in the Arctic
- Viatical Settlements
SEX DUNGEONS
I keep hearing about a new "invest in athletes" thing where you can buy a share of a prospective athletes future earnings or something. Sort of another version of Bowie bonds I guess.

I guess you can get interesting forms of ABS products. An interesting one is the one on pharmaceutical drug royalties. A really cool and bizarre set they had pre-2008 were vintage wines.
Over here in the UK two come to mind: -Caravan Park Real Estate funds (incredible returns actually, but obv very illiquid) -buying rights to singer/songwriter portfolios of 'hits' for a multiple and collecting the revenues on being played in ads, Spotify, etc (check out Hipgnosis Songs Fund - listed on the London stock exchange)
Korean hostess bar. Best DD process I ever experienced.
