Multi family office opportunity

Accepted an opportunity to work at a multi family office managing about $7bn in their client service team. A big step up from my current position. Currently a CFA level 2 candidate. Company has said they would like to put me in a different role related to financial planning and the CFA designation eventually.

Wondering what kind of experiences other people have had working at multi family offices and what kind of salaries people in this type of place can make. Career paths as well?
