Newer Credit Arms of UMM Funds

Hi - I am in final rounds with the newly created credit opportunities arm of an established UMM fund (think Francisco Partners, Veritas, New Mountain, American Securities ) for an associate position on a team with a half dozen IPs. I’ve been told comp will be ~$275 - 325k all in with (unspecified) carry.

The opportunity sounds interesting, but was hoping someone could provide any insight into life at one of these newer credit funds within larger UMM shops. Specifically regarding future comp, carry, lifestyle, career progression, etc?

Pretty good all-in comp. tbh i think the competition for private credit staff will get fierce in future given the lack of true mega fund platforms and the desire by many funds to start or expand their businesses. The staff at the higher end funds now will get poached by the up and comers
