PNC Rep

Hey Guys, I wanted to know PNC's rep on the street and how well it looks on my resume? I plan to be in their DCM group for the summer and was wondering if I do a SA stint with them, how does it look for a lateral? I know Harris Williams is their main M&A services Investment bank and could at least interview there, but I am also looking to see where else I can land for FT. Thanks

Very independent. PNC might own them but HW runs all their recruiting and everything separately. Also HW a pure sell side M&A shop so DCM for a summer won't be very applicable. PNC a debt shop so I guess DCM would be fine there but don't see them ever leading any deals. I think if I remember correctly their best group is ABL? Could be wrong but think they do a lot of ABL lending

Hi, this is the OP. So I do not go to a target school. I have really just been networking hard with people to get this opportunity. I have heard some people being able to lateral from their SA stint to other banks through networking, so I plan on continuing to do that. I am trying to get a sense of where I could land in interviews at other places with PNC on my resume. The lateral for me is just an option. Hopefully, I can get an FT offer from PNC, but also trying shooting my shot at other places.

Thanks for the info. Could you share what the total comp looked like.
