Potential Job Oppurtunity

I am looking at two potential opportunities:

1) Senior Credit Analyst at a European bank in corporate banking. Large bank (almost 1 trillion in assets) but just starting to break into the US market. Role sits in the front office and is a good setup to become a relationship manager. This has been explicitly mentioned in the job spec and in the interview process. The bank is one of the larger players in the Commodity financing market. Role would work very closely with the lending team on underwriting / approving potential deals.

2) Portfolio Analyst at a top tier PE firm but in their credit department. Very large AUM. Role would be a heavy reporting role that would support multiple PMs. Developmental areas were not clear but was mentioned via phone intvw that could either lead into becoming a PM or work in COO type role. The developmental path in this role is not as clear-cut as option 1. However, this is a prestigious firm and is known on the street for compensating well.

I believe comp will be slightly hire year 1 at the bank. Option 2 is a lower base salary (slightly~10K) but higher bonus. I believe that Y2-Y5 my earning potential is higher at Option 2. I think my personality and skill-set caters more to a relationship management type role that option 1 leads to but option 2 is a top tier PE firm that would look fantastic on my resume.

Thoughts?
