What does 'Shareholder Advisory' entail?
I’ve recently been called for an interview for the position of ‘Corporate Shareholder Advisory’ at a medium-sized firm in London. It is a junior role in a brand new division within this firm’s Global Advisory division and there is little to no information about this specific division / role on their website other than:
‘Corporate Shareholder Advisory (CSA) is a new Advisory function within our vast Global Advisory business, which examines large sets of capital markets data via quantitative analytical techniques to understand behaviours of institutional investors. From this, we provide actionable advice to our clients.’
I have found very little on ‘Shareholder Advisory’ in general during my research and was wondering if anyone could please provide insight on ‘Shareholder Advisory’ in general. Furthermore, what kind of data and quant analytics would such a division be undertaking?
