Suit pants - How do you avoid this?
Whenever I walk in my very well tailored pants, the bottoms flail up and look a lot shorter than they actually are. The lengths only look normal when I'm standing straight. This is probably normal, but it really bothers me.
Is it the quality of the suit? How do I avoid this? I'm assuming the only solution would be to slightly lengthen my pants, but then they would just be too long.

When you walk obviously your pants are going to come up a little bit, but yeah if it's bothering you that much have a tailor adjust them.
I would rather my socks showing a little bit when i walk than baggy slacks bundling at the ankle when i stand. embrace the tailored look
I chuckled at this.
It's not really an issue, man. If anything, it makes having interesting socks a must.
Yeah..it's not really an issue but it just really bothers me lol. How would a tailor fix this? Is the only solution to lengthen the pants? Like technoviking said, I would hate to have baggy slacks.
I like seeing a little bit of sock. It's exciting.
Happens w/ even poorly tailored pants!
Did you ask someone else how they look? They may just feel that way to you, but look just fine.
