can vouch for other comment. not 100% on comp maybe someone else can add but healthcare focused long hours and from what i understand comp is up there.

Pay is street and bonus is above most BBs
Recruiting process there is insane. Did OCR at my target and it was in February, so months before any other bank. The interview was absolutely insane and harder than any other interview I had at any BB/EB/MM. Insanely technical and I got wrecked.
what made it so technical? was it a lot of biopharma related questions?
Some Pharma specific questions and some pretty detailed accretion/dilution analysis. Way more technical than anything I'd seen in another interview
Leerink’s banking team is actually based out of NY. Comp is street across all of their offices and exit opps are solid into healthcare PE and late-stage vc/growth life sciences. I disagree with the above commenter. Most of Leerink’s deals are in the UMM territory and they have smaller teams so your experience as an analyst should be better than the other MM’s like Piper Sandler or other boutique competitors like Cain bros considering what their deal flow looks like on league tables compared to the total number of analysts.

Check the transactions on their website. You’re right about the majority of disclosed deals not being UMM, but they do UMM deals more than you’re suggesting.

It looks like a lot of the transactions are around 100-250MM Equity Capital Raises for multibillion dollar companies so I would think this would make them UMM

Yes, although recruitment is wrapped up now. Make sure you're on Leerink's radar for SA by late spring at the latest.

60-80% based off of last year’s SA class. Most likely on the higher end as some people did not take their return offers
