The story was a wild ride that deserved to be told, but I thought Netflix did a poor job of keeping it coherent and concise. 5.5 hrs for what could have been 2-3 hrs.

The new season of Dirty Money is out on Netflix and I think it's much better storytelling.

Well the point was to shine a light on the people who didn't fully understand why they were pressured to open the fraudulent accounts.

Either way, I thought the editing was tighter and made for more coherent stories in Dirty Money vs Tiger King (to compare two true crime Netflix docs).

I disagree man/girl. Maybe it's just because I already knew about a lot of the stories.

The Wells Fargo one was pretty cringe. People talking about how "Wells Fargo gave them dreams of being a banker, etc." Like, they are hiring you for an entry-level teller position, don't make it sound like something it's not.

I watched this episode of Dirty Money as well. Whenever I watch something like this I get the point is to make WF look bad, but the "bankers" kinda knew what they were doing as well. The one women even calculated that the town couldn't sustain the amount of accounts they had to open. I know a bunch of them were pressured/fired, but they still have blood on their hands. I'm always a little amazed when people "say" they knew what they were doing was wrong, but they kept doing it.

I felt really bad for Rick Kirkham as he lost all of his work when someone (seems like Joe) burned that building.

I bet he smoked so many damn cigarettes after that happened. He said he almost broke down. He probably put everything he had into that footage that was burned. Tough.

Funniest

As soon as the intro began in Florida i knew it was going to be some crazy shit

This was such good TV. Watched it all in one night instead of sleeping. How the fuck is any of this even real? Carole Baskin is a complete bitch, definitely killed her husband. Also, I love libertarianism when it relates to drugs and foreign policy, but this is kind of the ultimate anti-libertarian argument. All of these crazy people should not be allowed to do what they're doing; it's a uniquely American kind of insanity. I imagine people from more conservative societies like Japan will be pretty floored watching this lol

This was a whole 'nuther level of batshit crazy. Harems of men as well as women. Crimes and accusations of every stripe [ha!]. Wannabe musical artists. Delusions of grandeur. Cult-like behavior. Human and animal deaths.

And the one thing that I certainly didn't expect was a real-life connection to Al Pacino's Scarface story line!? Hubby and I bingewatched it all on Sunday and I think we're still recovering, LOL.

Seriously though, what is in the water in Florida, seems like a surreal number of these wacky out there stories always involve Florida. This was like some of Carl Hiaasen's novels come to life [guy that wrote the novel that they made "Striptease" out of, with Demi Moore, Ving Rhames & Burt Reynolds].

Here's the bottom line guys

-Carole Baskin killed her husband no doubt -Jeff Lowe is sketchy as fuck, and probably has done the most # of illegal things than anyone else on the show, definitely should be in jail -Joe Exotic definitely did not actually plot to kill Carole, however he did kill cats and does deserve jail time for that -Doc Antle is a legend. BUT it seems like he kills cats the moment they're no longer cubs. Fuck him for that.

Also don't fuck with fish & wildlife, they don't mess around

Wildly entertaining show overall, hard to believe it's real life
