UBS no longer sponsors or offers return offers to those who need a sponsorship

Can anyone confirm this? I heard that this will be the case going forward with 2019 SA program. No interns, including IB Summer Analysts, will be given a return offer if they require a sponsorship

Damn. This is really good info - don't want to derail the UBS thread, so I think it's worth it to start a new post just on MBA Associate sponsorship (i'll go ahead and do so)

so even if you will be interning for summer 2019 there will be 0 chance to get a return offer if you are an international?? Then what's the point of doing that internship?

I was in the process for scheduling a superday with UBS last cycle, and HR called me and said that I would be ineligible because I required visa sponsorship. So not sure how intl students got UBS internships for 2019?

Are there any other companies that are doing the same thing?
