I've seen ppl land internship placements in RBC IB, Scotia IB, CPP, Wells Fargo IB, Raymond James IB, and local PEs.
Of course them being outliers.
While the UTSC Management program is not on the god tier Canadian business schools like Ivey, Queens and maybe McGill, but realistically how does it compare to the rest of Canadian business programs when it comes to Canadian IB/PE?

Probably does well in the fact it is in Toronto and people can compete that way. But when stacked against what you yourself refer to as god-tier, not so much.

imo its what you make it of yes as you said its not the best compared to the top 3 but I have also seen people break into multiple front office roles coming from uoft being in toronto is a big plus to network. at the end you need to go the extra mile in networking/gpa/finance experience to get an offer but I think its possible.
