US Strategy vs Asia Investments offer

Hey guys..

Just needed some help and pointers.. I'm an international student here in the US and have two offers and need help deciding.. I have interned in Singapore for a few months before and had a good time although LA would be new..

1) Investment Consulting Associate position at Cambridge Associates in Singapore doing niche work like asset allocation and manager selection for endowments and non-profits. While CA is headquartered in Boston, the Singapore office has 30-40 people that supports all Asian clients.

"Consulting Associates (CAs) work closely with members of the consulting staff in providing investment and capital markets research, analysis, and advice to our clients. Responsibilities include gathering and analyzing historical asset allocation, spending, and performance data; evaluating financial histories; analyzing investment managers’ portfolios; preparing exhibits and other presentation documentation; and answering client questions and requests. Although the position involves quantitative analysis, there is also a strong qualitative component as CAs work to describe market conditions and relay investment recommendations to clients in written reports."

2) Corporate Strategy for a reputed Aircraft-leasing company.

"Construct business case for strategic initatives that would involve interacting and getting technical, financial, marketing and operation inputs from various departments.. Work on long-term financial planning, analysis and budgeting as well as process improvement to develop and refine complex financial models "

As an entry level candidate with hopes of possibly get into PE/Consulting/Corporate America or a top 15 business school in the US, would appreciate your perspective on what would provide me with core skill-set and give me flexibility, pre and post MBA? Cambridge seemed to have more of a focus on entry-level and providing the training/support while AIG would probably make me hit the ground running and learn on the job. I've had people tell me that working in Singapore would look great from international experience standpoint while others tell me that its better to work in the US especially in early years since going form US > Asia easier than Asia > US
