Always tell other people: BIWS or WSO Guides. Vault is outdated (Friend is giving solid advice).
are you sure you're not just advertising WSO?
I think Vault is a good place to start if you have literally no clue since it touches on very basic things and can go into some details, but don't dwell too long on it.
To go off on what Patrick said, if you couple the WSO interview guides with Rosenbaum and Pearl's Investment Banking book that you can find for free online, you should be pretty well prepped.
What is the best guide available for Asset Management/ global investment research interview preparation? Just went through my phone interview with Goldman and am hoping to get invited to a super day soon. I'm still trying to figure out how it flows for veterans at this point haha. Thanks.

IMHO, the Vault Guide sucks - it's outdated and not detail enough.
I suggest either the Wall Street Oasis Technical Interview Guide or Mergers & Inquisitions'. They are both great.
Even the new one sucks.
