For targets or non-targets?

Historically I believe targets recruited for most firms in January/February with some EBs or BBs having accelerated programs in September-November. This year (at least at my target) all the recruitment was done by December and a few people had offers in late September. EBs were basically all full by December with a few exceptions, I think a spot opened at PJT in late Dec. and maybe one or two others at Centerview. November is when the large majority of superdays happened for most people.

Believe most of the non-targets finished up by February; there is some ongoing stuff still but its mostly due to more offers turned down than expected for some firms rather than additional availability. I'm a bit shakier on this.

So targets have earlier superdays than non targets? I'm trying to figure out when to study abroad. Im at a school with very minimal OCR.

Yes only couple non-core spots were left at HLHZ, STRH, RayJ, Stifel, & SocGen in Jan. I know DB and another BB had a 2nd non core superday in January to fill up leftover spots..

I think Guggenheim had most of their non-core spots left to fill in January.

However if this was for next year SA recruiting I'm sure the process will be 95% done for non-core by December. The ones that recruited late this year will move up their process to compete for talent

Jefferies was the first superday I attended, and I got the offer, so I took it. During the same time period (+/- 1 week) I was doing phone interviews (first stage) for the other firms listed, and I cancelled the processes with them right after I got my SA offer.
