Global Capital Markets
Hi,
I’m currently exploring Summer Analyst roles, and at places like BofA and others, there’s a position called “Global Capital Markets.”
It’s unclear to me what this actually is. The BofA site (linked) has different teams — Leveraged Finance, Equity Capital Markets … but I’m still a little confused. Can someone help me understand how this is different from an IB role? How is the preparation different? And does this type of role full-time lead more towards PE exits? Appreciate all your help, still making sense of this very new industry for me as a CS major.
