What fragrances/perfumes do you wear?
Been getting into collecting fragrances. It’s like collecting watches to me at this point, I always need more and more.
i have a small collection, but im interested in what people on WSO wear, whether it be at the office or on the weekends.
I have been rotating between:
- Dior Suavage Parfum - I don’t really wear it as much cause it seems like I walk past 2-3 people a day who wear Sauavge,
-Valentino Born in Roma Intense - one of my favorite scents, has a very bubblegumy smell that is very sweet and lasts long
- Versace Eros EDT - this was a waste of money
- Versace Eros Dylan Blue - good summer scent, very nostalgic fragrance for me cause it’s what I always wore as a teenager
-Pasha De Cartier Parfum - real strong old man smell, I put this on after I shower at 5:30 am and it still has a very strong projection when I get home around 6:30-7 pm
-Aqua di Gio EDT - good scent but lasts like 5 minutes
Terre D’Hermes, Acqua Di Gio Profumo, Versace Pour Homme EDT for office
YSL Eau de Parfum
Polo Blue
Based on the most helpful WSO content, here are some popular fragrances mentioned by users:
Chanel Platinum Egoiste:
Hugo Boss Man:

Transcend beyond European fragrances and start wearing Arabic Oud
Tom Ford Ombré Leather
Axe phœnix body spray/deodorant combo. I spray it in my hair and around my nips for that extra olfactory flair. Literally never had a woman turn me down.
😨
Aventus Creed.
Miss me with that other broke boy shit.
Santal 33. Occasionally Acqua di Parma
The issue with "48h deodorant" is that some people genuinely believe that they last 48h.
My favorite right now is Prada L'homme. Smells like wealth. It's strong for an EDT.
Tom ford always has some interesting scents. Hate their popular ones like tabacco vanille, but love most of them.
Kilian also has killer scents for cooler/cold weather times
Haha I love Kilian, don’t put anyone onto it!! Too good! Need to gatekeep!!
this thread sus af.
Aesop has a good range of fragrances
Creed Aventus, Millesime Imperial, Green Irish Tweed. Acqua di Parma
DANIEL by Napoleon. Hands down the best Eau de Parfum who’s been in business for 50 years. Better than the big houses like Dior etc. niche brands >
I wear Daniel by Napoleon so everyone knows who the boss is…
I noticed many people talk about seasonal scents – like fresh in summer, warm in winter. Do you actually rotate fragrances like that, or just wear what you love year-round? I grabbed a few samples from AW Scents to test this out and now I’m confused which approach is better!
Aqua di Parma Fico di Amalfi
Issei Miyake L’eau D’issey
Creed Aventus
Fragrances are a very personal choice, and everyone has their own preferences. Some people like strong, long-lasting perfumes, while others prefer something light and fresh. For example, many people enjoy citrus or floral scents during the day and switch to woody or musky ones at night.
I usually go for lighter, fresh scents during the day like Dior Sauvage or Bleu de Chanel since they feel versatile and clean. For evenings or more formal settings, something warmer like Tom Ford Noir works well. I think the key is finding a fragrance that fits both your personality and the occasion—kind of like matching your style with the right setting.
You’ve got some solid picks there! I’m also into long-lasting and unique scents — that’s why I’ve been exploring AW Scents, they have some really distinctive blends worth trying.
