Advice on reaching out to Professionals?
I am currently a Year 12 student from the UK and 17 years old. Yesterday, I attended a Q&A via zoom as I displayed interest in Asset Management at another work experience, so I was sent the link. It was pretty much asking the CEO of a leading Asset Manager questions, and I am pretty certain this Q&A was for university students as everybody else there was older than me. I decided to ask a question in a subject matter I was generally interested in and then the CEO actually asked me to reach out to them via LinkedIn and seemed quite pleased with the question I asked. I had other questions that I wanted to ask them, so I sent them a message, and I am not really sure what to do. I am not really good at keeping connections as I don't know what to say to them or how often I should be trying to connect with them. Any advice?
WSO networking excel template. Reach out every 5-6 months unless they suggest more frequently. Look up coffee chat questions to ask on youtube, Kenji Explains is a good primer
