Alts at an RIA
Any insight on different alternatives structure at smaller RIAs? Would like to implement at our firm. Seems many smaller RIAs offer little in that asset class. The ‘easy’ solution seems to be alt funds, but I’m more interested in direct investment. Raise a small fund? Offer DD advisory services on a deal by deal basis to represent our client and maybe charge hourly? Any input appreciated.
