AM compensation in London

Just curious about this. Sorting out my applications from now and surprisingly the data seems pretty obscured

When I say AM I mean the 1st year analyst at an AM company (excl BB's), eg BlackRock Schroders Capital Group Fidelity etc. Well aware it varies by division too so I'm sticking to equities/FI divisions

Is the comp generally not worth the work? How much lower than Banking?

What does that even mean “Is the comp not worth the work”? Realistically, how much do you want to be comp’d working 8-7ish and pretty much no weekends?

Oh... I think you probably got that one wrong. what I meant to ask about was the nature of the work, not necessarily the hours. Eg heard that there are divisions in AM that are basically sweatshops and that have abysmal exit ops.
