Am I Behind?

I have been reading WSO for weeks now about how HireVues and super days have already been given out, but I have not yet even sent in my applications. The deadlines I know are anywhere from early September to late November for BB's so I don't understand why everyone is already sending in their apps. I am from a non-target and am trying to network and prepare more before I send them in.

Can someone explain to me if Im doing this wrong and should be sending in my apps as early as possible and then networking and preparing or do I have time? Any input would be great, thanks.
