AM operations, what is pre post trade monitoring and rule coding?
Hi guys after applying to alot of front office jobs, I decided to apply for back-office internships, and have managed to secure an interview for this week. Now the job description seems somewhat vague, and I haven't been able to gather much information, but was hoping for any advice.
The role states its investment operations : Rule coding, pre and post trade monitoring.
What exactly does this entail, I've tried researching it but it just keeps looping me around compliance, which is a different role.
Is there any regulations in the market place that i should be aware off, any specific knowledge of pre and post trading monitoring? Any help would be much appreciated.
