I currently work for a MM IB, and have been networking with various people in Frankfurt, London, Munich and Luxembourg (I am relocating to Frankfurt next year), within our IB division and AM division.
I spoke with someone today that doesn't work on the IB team, but she worked on AM within the real estate/infrastructure group that we have. This is something that really interested me, as I am a bit older, and I enjoy the process of taking a business/asset we have acquired and taking it through a restructure/refi/business plan and eventually exiting.
Is there specific divisions at other banks that do this? I am sure, but not sure where to exactly look. I don't really care to be in PWM, but rather running an acquired business and executing our business plan.
Where should I start to look at joining these departments in Banks in Frankfurt? Looked at DB, Commerzbank, JPM, GS, MS, etc.
