Any comments on Goldman IMD SA Superday?? Previous threads are weak...

I have a Goldman Sachs IMD SA superday coming up in the next few weeks. Can anyone comment on how the interviews are run, in regards to which of the many groups I may be exposed to? Any comments are appreciated.

And perhaps someone could provide insight as to what Technicals/Curveballs I may see...

Thanks.

Ok...but what specifically are you interviewing for? GSAM is very different from PWM etc...I assume the superdays are similar. Let me know what you applied for initially.

I went through the IMD SA Recruiting process this past fall, and I would say that it was a relatively easy undertaking. During the Super Day, I interviewed with about 6 people back-to-back. Most of it was a behavioral interview and questions about my resume. Also, my interviewers were from all different dvisions and has some subtle differences in their interview style. I emphasized my desire to work in PWM and they called be back later the same evening to extend and offer.

Be able to engage in a productive dialogue about market/economic conditions/news. A lot of the questions were open ended.

Good Luck!

It is not all fit. You'll have lots of behavioural but many economic awareness questions + a few questions on the mkts

There were 3 morning interviews, lunch, and afternoon interviews. The afternoon interviews were by invitation only. I was sent home after lunch, but felt things went well...feedback?

Do any of you know how the Capital Markets Group is within GS IMD? There seems to decent stuff out there on GSAM and PWM but not on capital markets. Are the roles more trading based or client facing? I know it's too late for this summer, but one of the seniors in my school(nontarget) did a SA with this group and recommended it to me for next year.
