Has anyone heard of this investment firm? They are based out of Milwaukee and decent sized. I think it's mostly long only but are there alternative products as well? Anyone know about comp or reputation? Basically any info would be helpful! They seem to have a strong track record. Thanks.

Yes, agree with Sonibubu. Pretty reputable investment management firm with a focus on international/global investing. They are partly owned by Hellman & Friedman, and recently filed their S-1 to IPO. If you really want to get to know the firm, check out their S-1. It goes in detail on the firm's operations, investment process/products, philosophy, etc. The Company is headquartered in Milwaukee (I believe the Founders are from Milwaukee), but has major offices in SF, NYC, and London. I believe the CEO and CFO, etc actually reside/work in the SF office.

They have nine independent teams. No centralized research or CIO. Each team does its own thing and the HQ provides the middle/back-office functions. All but the US Value team have decent track records if I remember correctly.

They are known to treat their employees very well (e.g, group-wise benefits), but each team has a different culture. Some have a worse reputation and higher turnover than others.
