I'm new to WSO, hope this type of thing is kosher.
I'm hoping to gain some insight on up coming internships for summer 2014 in Asset Management in Canada. Specifically smaller boutique funds that could slide under the radar or perhaps satellite offices that don't often document their job postings. I'm coming from a non-target competing in a job market against students from two schools both widely recognized for their business programs and portfolio management endowment funds so I'm always on the lookout for new opportunities and advice.
I worked last summer in buy-side research and am working in PE in January (both internships) but asset management is where my passion lies.
