Big 4 Tax to Asset Management

Hey guys, I have a pretty sticky situation. So not long ago I received offers from Wellington Management (AM) and a big 4 firm (tax). I chose big4 as I initially wanted to go into consulting and thought going from tax to there would be easier, especially coming from big4. Now I'm a few months into the role and I am starting to think I made a huge mistake, given how boring and non-stimulating it is. This is made worse knowing that I turned down (after accepting the offer initially) one of the most respected AM firms.

What would your advice be in terms of me moving from tax to asset management. For your info, I haven't graduated yet ( I'm doing 1 yr internship) and I'm from a target uni in the UK.
