BlackRock-->B-school?

hi guys:

just wondering if i can get your takes on BlackRock's PMG analyst program. If i work as a PMG analyst there for 2-3 years, does this set me up well for business school? in addition, i'm considering law school and business school (JD/MBA), do you think working at BlackRock and getting some experienced with fixed income/credit risk will be helpful?

Thank you!

Do you have an offer from Blackrock? Why are you concerned about what happens AFTER something that is not yet even a guarantee...

Food for thought.

The answer to your question is 1) network 2) get involved 3) beef up your resume 4) repeat -happypantsmcgee WSO is not your personal search function.

buybuybuyFYI, BlackRock just initiated a hiring freeze.

I think this is only through the close of 2011?

About the hiring freeze, I don't think it's for the graduate program in PMG.

I know people who have been invited to the AC and they received the call/email after the 12th of December. The message above saying there's a hiring freeze was sent on 3rd of December. So I guess this is not a general hiring freeze, otherwise people wouldn't have been invited to the AC.
