Job Description: The Global Client Group (GCG) is BlackRock’s new business development and client service function. As a summer analyst in GCG, you will support BlackRock’s client service and marketing efforts. You will learn BlackRock’s proprietary systems in order to prepare portfolio reviews, market updates, and research reports. Responsibilities include liaising with portfolio management and other departments throughout BlackRock to respond to existing client’s needs/inquiries. Analysts may work with clients to set-up accounts, develop benchmarks, create or modify investment guidelines and assist with portfolio structuring analysis. You will have the opportunity to participate in client presentations. Additionally, you may have the opportunity to contribute to new business pitches, marketing presentations, and requests for proposals (RFPs). This opportunity provides broad exposure to Asset Management, the market, and a wide variety of financial products.
