Blackrock PMG internship
Hey everyone, I'm getting ready to get into fall recruiting for summer analyst and am trying to decide between IB and AM starting out. I have a good feel for banking but am still pretty unclear as to the specific duties of someone starting out at a big AM in portfolio management. Can anyone provide insight or pm me what the day to day duties are like at somewhere like BlackRock PMG (equity group) or any of the other big firms (Fidelity, Vanguard, JPMorgan, GSAM, etc)? I've seen brotherBear's post about mainly doing attribution, portfolio construction at BlackRock, but would love to get more insight from anyone who's worked at one of the above places before.
Thanks
