Bonus pay in Asset Management
Hi people,I have seen many threads about banking bonuses but there is very little information about the bonus in the AM industry.Would like to know the bonus component for large AM shops like PIMCO/Fidelity/BlackRock.

Hi CuriousComic, yes, I'm a bot, but I'm also good looking. Hopefully, these threads help you:

I hope those threads give you a bit more insight.
I wished there was more information about this too. AM and Funds are not well represented on this website unfortunately. Would be curious to have similar breakdowns of Total Compensation just like IB. Hope someone chips in and develops this thread. Cheers!
You don't hear much because it's far more variable. For instance, first-year IB analysts at most shops will make in the range of $150k-$200k. Even for the middle 80% of MDs, you could generally guestimate that they fall in the $1-2M bucket.
A research analyst at a shop like Fidelity might struggle to clear $100k, whilst the same position could pay up to $200k at the likes of Wellington, Dodge & Cox, etc. A PM at BlackRock might not clear $500k, while a PM at PIMCO could make over $10M.
