Do investment professionals get discounts on their firms products?

Forgive me for what is probably a very basic question, but given that you work at HF/PE/MF what kind of deals do you get on investing your firm's/fund's products? Can you get discounts for BB AM/WM if you work at said BB?

Generally can co-invest with no carry and a break on management fees in the alternatives world. But often this is not available to people at the entry-level (pre-MBA associates). Sometimes they will loan/advance you money to invest if they are trying to get participation up before fundraising.

Ok, so at what level is it available?
