Do most AM firms give you a laptop (internship or otherwise)?
I have an internship in AM this summer, and was wondering if I need to purchase a laptop for use outside the office or if I'll be provide one. I have a mac, but I like PCs for excel purposes obviously. Any insight is much appreciated!
I doubt you would get a laptop for a summer internship. Work will be done in the office and you will likely not be expected to do much outside of work. Obviously I am sure there are some exceptions to this, but giving interns a laptop isn't the norm. I'd say youll be fine with what you have, no need to go out and buy something just for an internship
