E&F and Family Office - Recruiters

Hello Lads

would be a massive help if someone could provide the recruiters for the E&F and family office space for early to mid investment professionals.

A lot of these E&F's especially utilize recruiters so its frustrating that they only post the application very late in the process.

any help would be immense.

Cheers,

Batman/Robin

Based on previous WSO threads, here are some insights regarding recruiters for the E&F (Endowments & Foundations) and family office space:

E&F Recruiters:

  • Placement Agents and Consultants: Some E&Fs, especially smaller or newer ones, use placement agents and consultants to help get their portfolios started. Larger, more mature E&Fs might not use them as frequently.
  • Networking: It's crucial to build relationships with placement agents and consultants who are known and trusted by the E&Fs. They often reach out to pitch funds, but E&Fs typically engage with those they have established relationships with.

Family Office Recruiters:

  • Networking and Referrals: Given the lean structure of many family offices, networking is key. Executives and influential individuals within the family office space often have connections that can lead to job opportunities.
  • Headhunters: Engaging with headhunters who specialize in the family office space can be beneficial. They often have insights into openings that are not publicly posted.

General Tips:

  • Proactive Outreach: Reach out to recruiters and headhunters who specialize in asset management, private equity, and family offices. Keep your resume updated and follow up regularly to stay on their radar.
  • Leverage References: If you have connections within the industry, use them to get introductions to recruiters and hiring managers.

For more detailed advice and specific recruiter recommendations, you might want to explore the WSO forums or reach out to members who have experience in these areas.

I'm sorry, but it looks like this may be out of my ability to answer... maybe some of the links below might help?

Cheers!
