Egos and Attitudes
I work in operations in an asset management company. Our team works hard and is actively involved with investment team in trade testing etc. However the investment team always looks and talks down to us. They always attribute blame to us and brush off our input. They gatekeep information from us and we are left in the dark on information we need to do our job. At the end of the day i respect everyone i work with no matter what their role is. I don’t understand the need to peacock over someone who earns half your salary.
