Entry Level Market Strategist Role Compensation?
I'm discussing a market strategist role with a company that would be giving asset allocation and macroeconomic advice to clients such as asset managers. What would be appropriate compensation for this sort of job right out of a target school? It seems both Economics and Finance backgrounds are necessary for the role. I think it would be a great learning experience and that would be valuable, but I'm unsure if the pay will be substantially lower than an ER or Credit Research job on the Buy Side.
