Equity Asset Pricing Interview Questions

Just landed an interview for an “Equity Asset Pricing” role at a major insurance company and could use some guidance. The JD mentions “assisting in creating and evaluating quantitative models for selecting equities” and requires being “proficient in statistical modeling, time-series analysis, and machine learning methods.” This sounds pretty quant-heavy and not like a standard equity research gig.

Can anyone shed light on what a team like this typically does day-to-day at an insurance firm? Also, what kind of technical questions should I prep for given the quant focus? Any tips or experiences would be awesome.

Thanks in advance!
