They are value investors with strong Columbia Business School affiliation. The brand name guy is Jean Marie Eveillard (looks like he just retired), but they also hired Bruce Greenwald (dean of Value investing program at CBS) as an advisor. I would love to hear about the interview process too.
Looks like their analyst has sector coverage, not as generalist, but each analyst is covering 2-4 broad sectors.
