Fund Accounting at Warburg Pincus

Hi all - considering taking a position at Warburg Pincus in the fund accounting group. I’m in my 3rd year in Asset Management Audit, and just want to know if I’d be making the right decision. Any insight into what it’s like working there (or what you may have heard) would be great!

Avoid Fund accounting like the plague.

It is a dead end job, most of your workload would be clicking the calculate button on some spreadsheets and uploading it onto a system.

I used to work in the back office, many of the fund accountants had been there for over 10 years, with no promotions or career path.
