Fund performance - how important?
How important do you feel it is to work at a fund that generates above average performance? Why would you be willing to join a fund that has chronically underperformed?
Has the PM changed recently? Bad performance under an old PM isn't as relevant. Bad long-term performance could result in the PM and his team getting fired.
No, the firm has had the same PMs/leadership and will not fire anyone. The loyalty to employees / PMs is too strong (familial in some cases), but some clients are starting to drop out.
