GS IMD Buy or Sell Side?

I'm sorry if this is a dumb question (I'm very new to finance), but is Goldman Sachs' IMD in the buy side or sell side? I believe Asset Management is Buy Side, but I read on GS' site that IMD is one of the 3 revenue generating departments, alongside Securities and IB, which I think are Sell-Side?

Imd is buyside (managing money for clients). Securities is sellside (market maker for secondaries, essentially matching buyside firms with each other to trade securities anonymously). Ibd is also sellside but only for ecm and dcm which is the primaries market. Primaries are issuances from companies. Secondaries are security issues that have already been issued and are traded among buyside people / firms.
