GSAM Best Groups Information

Does anyone know which groups within GSAM pay the best and have nice exit opportunities(all though many GSAM teams are very niche).

Their division seems massively confusing as they recently merged with Merchant Banking and have many mini teams. GS Merchant Banking teams seem to take people primary out of banking but I have seen 2 undergrads at targets get in out of undergrad.

Any information on the following groups: GSAM Fundamental Equities, GSAM AIMS PE, and GS Merchant Banking. Also pay, culture, exit opps would be great insights
