GSAM SA Public Investing team in SLC - FO or MO?
I’m interning for GS in the AM division with the Public Investing team this summer in the SLC office. I am trying to figure what this internship is like.
Anyone know if this is front office or middle office? I’d appreciate some insight. I’m sure it’s not Ops

from what I understand, you most likely won't be doing the actual research/ investing for the funds you cover. You will be "front office" in the fact that you will be communicating the research and fundamentals behind the fund as well as the individual investments to the clients, therefore, it would be considered client facing.
